Make Some Noise

It is a real privilege to have worked regularly with this very special Music Charity based in Stafford since mid-2019 and to have the opportunity to uplift and inspire young people from many different walks of life whom a proprotion face a multitude of different challenging circumstances. From group workshops, 1-2-1 sessions, engagement in SEND settings to fun event days and fundraisers – I am regularly given the opportunity to create inspiring, fun, confidence-building experiences for young people. Make Some Noise reach out to and work with a wide range of both local and national organisations and charities, and manage to maintain a wide and diverse schedule of engagement, reaching literally tens of thousands of children and young people across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.

Created Academy

Created Academy offers a unique and specialised solution as an alternative provision serving children and young people in Stoke-On-Trent. It is one of few educational settings that I have taught in that operate an environment which truly and absolutely puts the wellbeing and development of the young people attending above all else, endlessly seeking to offer the best possible educational experience available.
A remarkable and inspiring team of staff ensure the social and educational growth of the young people every school day, every week. I have been delivering musical tuition here since late-2020 and continue to deliver music production coaching, confidence-building, instrumental tuition and band-building.

Youth Music

I was nominated for an award with Youth Music in 2019 for my services as part of a project delivered in partnership with The Hive in Shrewsbury and NHS West Midlands Partnership Trust. This work saw me delivering songwriting and personal growth sessions to inpatients at Redwoods Centre in Shropshire, it was a particular privilege to work with these adults and I was very pleased with the progress made.

Samantha Maritza Charity
This organisation is particularly close to my heart, as are the incredible people who keep it going and pour every effort and resource into raising awareness of issues relating to mental health, well-being and the benefit of music engagement to aid people with suffering. After having worked with them to write and record some songs as part of a project they funded in 2017 (listen on Spotify here) I was touched and blessed to remain in contact with the founders and look forward to again working with them in the future.
